1. Deliveries

1:A. Local deliveries (North Devon and Exmoor Area)

1:A:1 We deliver most goods to these areas using our own vehicles and our dedicated dispatch team. A driver and drivers mate will take the items to the room of choice. Please ensure that any breakables are stored away.

1:A:2 We offer a disposal service in these areas which must be booked and paid for when placing the order (please ask for further details)

1:A:3 We do not usually deliver at weekends.

1:A:4 Frames and furniture are flat packed and require self assembly, unless otherwise stated.

1:B National deliveries (Mainland UK).

1:B:1 National Deliveries where available are provided by a manufacturer/supplier appointed delivery team and the service will vary. Details available on request and will be confirmed on point of order confirmation.

1:1 Please check over your items to ensure that they look to be intact before signing for them.

1:2 Notifications of claims – If your goods are damaged when you receive them, please note on the delivery sheet and refuse the items with the driver. Please contact Bed Kingdom who will be happy to rectify this problem as soon as possible.

1:3 If you do sign for goods and later discover them to be damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and be aware that we may require photographic evidence of the damage before action can be taken.

1:4 Shortages – It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages shown on the delivery sheet, please note any shortages and contact Bed Kingdom. Incorrect items – Please refuse any incorrect items and mark the delivery sheet as incorrect items. Please contact us.

1:5 We offer a standard weekday delivery on all orders, £POA, dependent on area.


4.0 The Buyer’s right of cancellation

14.1 In accordance with the Regulations the Buyer has the right of cancellation within 14 days, and the buyer has a further 14 days to return the product –  except where a Product is tailored to customer specific requirements and without fault. This applies to any product that is made to order in a different size, colour, drawer option or fabric or any other requirement than  a usual stock item.

14.2 To exercise the Buyer’s right of cancellation, the Buyer must give written notice to the Seller by letter or e-mail giving details of the Products ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.

14.3 Once the Seller has been notified of the cancelling of the Contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit the  Buyer within 30 days for any sum that has been paid or debited from the Buyer’s credit card for the Products  (Provided any delivered product has been returned and found to be in perfect condition within the time scale specified)

14.4 If the Buyer does not cancel the Contract in accordance with clauses 3.1 and 3.2, in the terms and conditions . the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods (except any manufacturing faults) and will not be liable to return the Goods to the Seller.

14.5 If the Seller has delivered the Products to the Buyer but the Buyer wants to cancel the Contract, as prescribed in clauses 13.1 and 13.2 in the terms and conditions the Buyer must retain possession of the Goods until the cancellation notice has been sent to the Seller within the relevant time limit. The Products can not be used. The Buyer will be responsible for returning the Products to the Supplier at the Buyer’s own cost. The Products must be returned to the address in the definitions section. The Buyer must take reasonable care to ensure that the Products are not damaged in the meantime or in transit and return then in the packaging and condition they were delivered to the Buyer.

14.6 Any items the buyer wishes to return must be available for collection in the same manner it was delivered. Any bed or mattress which has been removed from the manufactures wrapping will be not be able to be returned. We will refuse to collect anything that has been used. Any flat packed items must be still in the original packaging and not show any signs of being taken out or assembled and ready to be  returned in its original packaging. Bed Kingdom’s contracted couriers only offer a delivery and collection service and are not able to dismantle any type of product prior to collection.

14.7 Please be advised that not all mattresses come with  handles. Handles are designed for the assistance of turning the mattress. The supplier may deem that the mattress can be turned without the need for Handles even if specified within its description. Bed Kingdom will not exchange or refund if handles are not provided on the product.
